Titbit (1), especially for herbivorous animals, comprises a core (2) of dehydrated vegetable food surrounded by a layer of hardened sugar (3). Independent claims are also included for: (1) producing a titbit as above by coating the core with a hot sugar-water syrup and drying the coating; (2) box containing an assortment of titbits as above.
