<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sorting facility for dispensing with secondary sorting by a worker and sorting an article for each passage of a store. <P>SOLUTION: In each branch carrying path 18, a group of a corrugated cardboard 2 discharged from each automated storage and retrieval warehouse 1 is formed, the cardboard 2 is discharged from a storage shelf 3 of the each automated storage and retrieval warehouse 1 with a stacker crane 4 for the each formed group, and the each discharged corrugated cardboard 2 is sorted to the each branch carrying path 18 for the each passage of the store by a branching device 19 so that the corrugated cardboard 2 for the each passage of the store cannot be mixed with the corrugated cardboard 2 of the each passage of the other stores, and a plurality of the stacker cranes 4 can be simultaneously operated. Accordingly, as the corrugated cardboard 2 is sorted to the each branch carrying path 18 for the each passage of the store, the secondary sorting by the worker to sort the corrugated cardboard 2 for the each passage is dispensable when the corrugated cardboard 2 is transferred from a downstream part of the branch carrying path 18 to a cart 37. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
