PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image data file generating system having the low possibility that completion time of processing requiring the generation of an image data file of an original is delayed. SOLUTION: The image data file generating system is configured as a system comprising a plurality of original digitizing apparatuses which cannot generate the image data file of an original in a sole apparatus; and a plurality of scanning server capable of processing image data of one page transmitted from the original digitizing apparatus and storing the digitized image data in the inside, transmitting the image data to another scanning server, and generating an image data file from the image data stored in the inside and the image data transmitted from the other scanning server, and executing processing utilizing the generated image data file. In the system, the image data of one page generated by each of original digitizing apparatuses are transmitted to a scanning server having not processing server, and are processed.
