PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil line apparatus and its control method by which the depth of a looper is made shallow as far as possible. SOLUTION: This coil line apparatus is provided with an uncoiler 2 and a leveler 4 each of which has a servomotor as a drive source for continuously feeding a metal sheet b, looper 5 having sag amount detecting means c1, c2 for detecting the sag amount of the metal sheet b, feeder 6 having a servomotor as a drive source for intermittently feeding the metal sheet b, press P which is a servo-press, and a control means C for making the sag amount of the metal sheet b in the looper 5 lie in a prescribed range by linking the press working of the press P and the intermittent feeding of the metal sheet b with the feeder 6 which are synchronized with each other and continuous feeding of the metal sheet b by the leveler 4 and the uncoiler 2 as its control.
