<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm the erroneous connection of a cable between NCs, and to specify an erroneously connected point easily before actual transmission by confirming the connection state of a network by connection check packets. <P>SOLUTION: A network device connects a plurality of pieces of computer equipment and network controller (NC) equipment by an optical interconnector, or the like, thus detecting the erroneous connection of cables between the NCs by returning back the connection check point between arbitrary pieces of equipment in an information processing unit for composing the network. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
