PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide colored particles and a color toner excellent in transparency, color reproducibility and light resistance. SOLUTION: The colored particles comprise a resin containing a component having a sulfo group and a dye, wherein the content of the sulfo group is 1×10-4-20×10-4mol/g and the content of the dye is 1-50 wt.%.
