PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature control indicator having a simple and safe structure that does not contain mercury, even in toxic metals, has durability, specially excellent light resistance, can indicate a specific temperature region by reversible coloration, and can display whether specific temperature has been reached by irreversible discoloration. SOLUTION: The temperature control indicator reversibly provides electrons to an electron donating compound, to capsulate hot melt nature coloration temperature control agents into a microcapsule 20; makes absorbant base 15 with a solid hot melt material 21 fuse, at a temperature to be measured to irreversibly absorb the material 21 which is a fusion state; thus, arranges a nonmercury-containing reversible temperature indicating material 13 contained in the microcapsule and a nonmercury-containing irreversible temperature indicating material 17 for exposing the base 15, in parallel with each other on an indicator board 12 or are partially superimposed on each other.
