The invention relates to chemico-pharmaceutical industry, the claimed method of antibacterial activity of cephalosporin antibiotic enhancement by their mechanical treatment provides to enhance antibacterial activity by at least two times due to enrichment of commercially produced antibiotics by biologically-active enantiomers. For that, powder-like substance of cephalosporin antibiotics is treated by intensive shock-abrasive action in ball mills controlling the change of specific angle of optical rotation measured by standard technique with wave length 589 nm, which must be at least 2°.
