VIEWING ANGLE CONTROLLABLE LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE USING IN-PLANE SWITCHING MODE

摘要

PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display controlling viewing-angle using IPS(in-plane-switching mode) is provided to effectively control the characteristic of wide viewing angle and narrow viewing angle. CONSTITUTION: A grating type second pixel electrode(13) is located on a surface of upper side of a second common electrodes or same surface. A two gate wires(1,4) and one data wire(2) transmits a signal to each pixel. Two switching elements(100,200) is formed on a intersection of the two gate wires and one data wire. The substrate is arranged on opposite side of the lower substrate. A liquid layer is location between the lower substrate and the upper substrate.
