<p>PURPOSE: A cylinder type secondary battery is provided to improve the reliability of a battery, and to prevent the damage on an electrode tap by preventing the stress from being concentrated to the electrode tap. CONSTITUTION: A cylinder type secondary battery(100) comprises the following: a can(120) including an opening; an electrode assembly(110) stored inside the can; a cap assembly(170) covering the opening of the can; an upper insulating plate(140) located in between the electrode assembly and the cap assembly; and a supporting plate(142) located on the upper side of the upper insulating plate.</p> |
