<p>The present invention provides a method for transmitting a non-access layer message during handover, the method comprises: a user equipment sending a handover confirmation message carrying a non-access layer message of the user equipment to a target base station; if handover being successful, the target base station sending a handover completion message carrying the non-access layer message in the received handover confirmation message to a mobile management entity/serving gateway; the mobile management entity/serving gateway sending the handover completion confirmation carrying a non-access layer message in the mobile management entity/serving gateway to the target base station; and then the target base station forwarding it to the user equipment. The present invention also provides a system and base station in Long Term Evolution network for realizing the above method. With the present invention, time delay for sending a non-access layer message during handover can be reduced, the service required by the user can be provided in time and air interface resources can be saved.</p> |
