1. A motor comprising:
a stator; a rotor rotatable about an axis; a housing defining a motor chamber, said motor chamber at least substantially housing the stator and the rotor; an encoder assembly, said encoder assembly including a rotatable encoder hub and a sensed element secured to the encoder hub to rotate therewith, said encoder hub including a generally circumferentially extending sidewall; and a seal configured to dynamically engage the sidewall along a generally arcuate hub-seal interface to thereby at least substantially prevent contaminants passing across the hub-seal interface.
