The purpose of the present invention is to provide a power supply system, which is capable of supplying power appropriate for a base station, and a base station system including the same. According to the present invention, the power supply system comprises: a photovoltaic power generator which generates first DC power and supplies the first DC power to a DC supply line; a first power converter which converts the first DC power into first AC power and supplies the first AC power to an AC load included in a base station apparatus; a second power generator which generates second AC power; a second power converter which converts the second AC power into second DC power and supplies the second DC power to the DC supply line; a first power storage device which stores power; a third power converter which is connected in series to the first power storage device and selectively performs a first conversion of converting the DC power supplied from the DC supply line into DC power for charging the first power storage device and a second conversion of converting the DC power outputted by the first power storage device into DC power supplied to the DC supply line; and a control unit which performs control so that the third power converter performs the second conversion when the first AC power is insufficient for power of the AC load, and the third power converter performs the first conversion when the first AC power is sufficient for power of the AC load. |
