PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sprocket assembly of a bicycle, that allows a chain to correctly mesh with teeth of a sprocket added to small diameter side sprockets.SOLUTION: A sprocket assembly 10 comprises plural sprockets 12 and plural spacers 14, that are gradually reduced in diameter. The last sprocket 12d has plural teeth 122d and plural throats 121d, and the throats 121d have respective bottom surfaces 123d that are tangent to a first circumference having a first diameter D1. The last spacer 14b situated between the last sprocket 12d and the next-to-last sprocket 12c has plural recessed areas 143b. Each recessed area 143b is positioned at the place of a respective throat of the plural throats 121d, and the recessed areas 143b have respective base surfaces 144b that are substantially tangent to a second circumference having a third diameter D3 equal to or smaller than the first diameter D1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2b |
