PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curtain air bag for a vehicle capable of adjusting the inflated state of a curtain air bag with a small number of components and in simple assembling work, sufficiently securing the thickness in inflation especially at the end position in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, suitably setting the position, and optimally restraining an occupant.SOLUTION: A curtain air bag 1 for a vehicle includes a sac-like bag body 11 formed by bonding outer peripheral edges P, R of first and second panels 9 and 10, and the bag body includes a bent part 13 formed by bending upward along a pair of top folding lines S set on both sides in the vehicle width direction of a front end bonding line P at the front end part in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and by bending downward along a bag forming reference line. The bent part is bonded at the outer peripheral edge of the bag body except the top folding line, and the base end 12a of a strap 12, the tip of which is supported by the vehicle, is bonded to the bag body at the position of the bent part or the bag forming reference line. |
