PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a charging current of a secondary battery within an appropriate range at low cost in float charging.SOLUTION: A power supply system 100 for float charging provides a parallel system in which a load 30 and a secondary battery 20 are connected in parallel with a power supply. The power supply system 100 includes a plurality of power supply units PO1 to PO3, having a current balance function, connected in parallel. When a charging current Ic of the secondary battery 20 exceeds a recommended upper current of the secondary battery 20, output voltages of the plurality of power supply units PO1 to PO3 are so controlled as to be reduced in accordance with an increase of the charging current Ic of the secondary battery 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
