PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition coil for an internal combustion engine, which enables the perfect seal function even at a boundary formed between different structure surfaces.SOLUTION: An ignition coil 100 for an internal combustion engine comprises: high-voltage terminals to which an output voltage of a coil assembly is applied; a high-voltage-side structure 131 arranged by housing the high-voltage terminals in a structure made of a first resin material; a coil-side structure 140 made of a second resin material different from the first resin material, and covering at least a part of the coil assembly; and a plug boot 150 attached to the high-voltage-side structure 131, and having a communicating hole 151 connecting to the high-voltage terminals formed therein. A structure surface X where a boundary of the high-voltage-side structure 131 and the coil-side structure 140 arises is sealed in contact with the plug boot 150.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
