PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device, a control method, and a program capable of quickly starting processing of image data in the case where a user instructs to process image data.SOLUTION: The image processing device provided with first processing means for executing processing of image data in accordance with a user's instruction, and second processing means for executing maintenance processing on a prescribed condition without a user's instruction includes detection means for detecting whether the user exists within a prescribed range. In the case where the detection means detects that the user exists within the prescribed range, the second processing means does not execute the maintenance processing which cannot be executed in parallel with processing executed by the first processing means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
