Provided is a sleep control device capable of waking a user pleasantly in a REM sleep period without depending on chance. The sleep control device (1) is provided with a heater (2) which constitutes a part of bedclothing and heats a human body, a perspiration detector (4) which detects a physical quantity depending on the perspiration amount of the human body, a setting section which receives setting of a scheduled wake-up time, and a controller circuit (5) which controls the heater (2), wherein: the controller circuit (5) controls the heater (2) so as to prevent the heater (2) from heating the human body to a first temperature or higher, at which reduction in body temperature during sleeping is inhibited, until a preset time, said preset time being 90-150 minutes before the scheduled wake-up time set in the setting section, excluding a preset period of time after going to sleep, and, after the preset time, the heater heats the human body to a second temperature that is higher than the first temperature; and the controller circuit (5) controls the output of the heater (2) on the basis of the physical quantity detected by the perspiration detector (4). |
