PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device capable of easily rotating an image composed of a plurality of rectangular image pieces on a display screen.SOLUTION: The image display device includes: image composition means (S14) for generating composite image information representing a composite image obtained by combining a plurality of rectangular image pieces represented by first tile image information used to display an image in a display part; image rotation means (S15) for generating rotation composite image information representing a rotation composite image obtained by rotating the composite image represented by the composite image information by a designated mode; and image division means (S16) for generating second tile image information representing a plurality of rectangular image pieces obtained by dividing the rotation composite image represented by the rotation composite image information according to a prescribed rule. The device is configured to display an image on the display part by using the second tile information instead of the image displayed by using the first tile image information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
