Disclosed are a data transmission method and apparatus, so as to transmit data between a source data system and a destination data system. The data transmission method comprises: reading a current field of data from a source data system, and mapping the current field to a preset abstract data type according to a data type of the current field and a preset correspondence between the abstract data type and a data type of the source data system; and reading the current field mapped as the abstract data type, and mapping the current field mapped as the abstract data type, to a data type corresponding to a destination data system according to a preset correspondence between the abstract data type and a data type of the destination data system. Correspondingly, the data transmission apparatus of the present invention comprises a read module and a write module. In the method and the apparatus of the present invention, by setting a unified abstract data type, data is transmitted among any heterogeneous data systems, and the phenomenon of data conversion distortion and the situation of data type loss do not exist. |
