A refrigerator comprises a refrigerator body, a detection assembly (100), and a capacity calculation device (200). The refrigerator body defines a storage compartment (400), and the capacity of the storage compartment (400) is less than or equal to a preset threshold. The detection assembly (100) is disposed in the storage compartment (400), and at least comprises a light-sensitive component (130) that is configured to detect the visible light intensity and the infrared light intensity in the position where the detection assembly (100) is located. The capacity calculation device (200) is connected to the detection assembly (100), and is configured to acquire the visible light intensity and the infrared light intensity and calculate the used capacity of the storage compartment (400) according to the visible light intensity and the infrared light intensity. In the refrigerator, the detection assembly (100) is disposed in the storage compartment (400) the available capacity of which is less than or equal to the preset threshold; the used capacity of the storage compartment (400) of the refrigerator is detected by means of an optical principle, the detection result is precise, and a door body of the refrigerator does not need to be opened, thereby improving the use experience of a user, and keeping a good food storage environment. |
