<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an internal combustion engine capable of appropriately performing fuel injection by the cylinder injection injector of the internal combustion engine achievable in stratified combustion and homogeneous combustion. <P>SOLUTION: In a vehicle control system 1, control is performed for suppressing a remarkable increase in the pressure of fuel supplied to the cylinder injector 25 when a vehicle is started in comparison with target fuel pressure by a first fuel injection means, a second fuel injection means, a separative injection ratio control means, a fuel pressure detection means, a fuel pressure target value setting means, and a fuel pressure lowering means.
