<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus for reproducing a color of a color-changed pixel cluster with more fidelity, when reproducing the color into non-changed color, in comparison with the case that the color is reproduced only in a central portion of the pixel cluster. <P>SOLUTION: A binarization means of the image processing apparatus binarizes an image, and a determination means determines whether or not a region is a peripheral portion of a pixel cluster inside the image binarized by the binarization means. Based on a pixel value of a region determined not as the peripheral portion by the determination means and a pixel value of the pixel cluster, a pixel value calculation means calculates the pixel value of the pixel cluster. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
