PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eyelash curler and an adapter for an eyelash curler, easily and reliably curling eyelashes as predetermined without the disadvantage of giving fright to a user.SOLUTION: An adapter 2 is mounted to the front of a fixing member 33 of an eyelash curler 3 by the attracting force of a magnet. In the mounting state, a back surface part 21 of the adapter 2 closely adheres to a main body part 331. After a movable pressing member 34 is raised to make an elastic pressing part 342 closely adhere to the lower edge 333 of the fixing member 33, raising operation is further performed, on receiving the upward pressure from the elastic pressing part 332, the adapter 2 rises to displace while maintaining the attracting state to the fixing member 33, and the corner part runs on a bent part 332. When the movable pressing member 34 is lowered, upward pressure is eliminated, and instead, the attracting force of the magnet acts with superiority so that the adapter slides along the bent part 332 to automatically restore to its initial mounting state. |
