1. Integrated temperature sensor device comprising:
a temperature sensor configured to provide an analog signal corresponding to an ambient temperature; an analog-to-digital converter receiving the analog signal and generating a plurality of subsequent digital temperature values; a controllable digital filter coupled to the analog-to-digital converter and configured to receive said digital temperature values, wherein the controllable digital filter is configured to adjust a temperature value rate of change of said plurality of subsequent digital temperature values; a first register coupled with the analog-to-digital converter for storing the output of the analog-to-digital converter; a second register coupled with the digital filter for storing the filtered temperature value; and a serial interface configured to access said first and second register.
