PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the jack type rosette that is used in common independently of a communication network to which a user of a terminal subscribes. SOLUTION: Both 2-wire subscriber lines of a jack JA are bridged by a series circuit consisting of an inductor L, a capacitor C and a resistor R. The impedance Z of the series circuit with respect to its frequency (f) is expressed as Z=R+j(2πfL-X) by providing the series circuit as above to the jack JA, where X=1/2πfC. In the case of using the series circuit for a telephone network, the impedance of a 2nd term of the right side of the equation above is low at a telephone signal frequency. On the other hand, in the case of using the series circuit for an INS network, a 3rd term of the right side of the equation is negligible because the signal frequency is very high and the 2nd term shows a high impedance. Thus, the operation of the L, C, R series circuit is equivalent to that of an L, R series circuit. Then the impedance of the L, C, R series circuit is high and the series circuit gives no much effect on signals transmitted in the INS network.
