PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alga-preventing device of an aquarium for preventing the generation of algae adhered to the underwater inner surface of the aquarium. SOLUTION: Water 2 is put in a glass or rigid synthetic aquarium 1, and live fishes or fancy fishes 3 swim therein. Ultrasonic wave oscillators 4, 5 are adhered to the outer surfaces 1a, 1b of the glass or rigid synthetic aquarium 1, and an oscillation output is applied to the ultrasonic wave oscillators 4, 5 from an oscillator 6 to ultrasonically oscillate the side surfaces of the glass or rigid synthetic resin. The ultrasonic oscillators are adhered to the outer surfaces of the side walls of the glass or rigid synthetic resin aquarium, and the glass or rigid synthetic resin side walls are finely oscillated. The generation of algae on the inner surfaces of the water tank are thereby prevented, and the fine ultrasonic waves are transmitted to the live fishes or fancy fishes through water. Comfortable oscillations can thus be given to the live fishes or fancy fishes to prolong their lives. |
