PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing salted squid-like food having no smelling of fish and unusual taste which are originally possessed by the salted squid. SOLUTION: A squid after removing the bones and guts as a pretreatment is subjected to a temperature treatment to dissolve and remove the skin of the squid, and the resultant half-cooked squid is taken out and formed into a minced meat or ground fish meat shape. The obtained minced meat or ground fish meat-like squid is mixed with sorbitol, common salt, sodium glutamate and an alcohol, and cooked to provide the objective salted squid-like food. |
