The machine consists of a table (1) designed to receive the grapes and debris at one end and a separator at the other comprising a series of rotary toothed discs (2) on a transverse shaft that pick out any debris such as stalks and leaves that are larger than the grapes, removing them from the channels meant for the grapes. The table can be inclined or vibrating, and the end adjacent to the disc shaft has a comb with rising teeth that go between the discs and leave gaps that are too small for debris larger than the grapes to pass through. A second comb (3) on the opposite side of the shaft removed debris from the discs, while the grapes drop down through the gaps onto a ramp (4) and a contra-rotating drum (5) from which firm grapes rebound, while soft or bad ones are removed.
