发明名称 METHOD FOR REDUCING CHLORINE ION IN SULFURIC ACID ACIDIC SOLUTION OF NONFERROUS METAL
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and inexpensive method for reducing chlorine ions to an infinitesimal level, which is desired for an electronic material, a catalyst material and the like, by removing the chlorine ions contained in the sulfuric acid acidic solution of a nonferrous metal such as nickel sulfate and the like. SOLUTION: Monovalent copper ions are added to the sulfuric acid acidic solution of the nonferrous metal containing chlorine and then a hardly soluble salt is formed by the chlorine ions in the solution and the monovalent copper ions. The chlorine ions in the solution are reduced by removing the salt. It is preferable that the pH value of the sulfuric acid acidic solution of the nonferrous metal containing chlorine is regulated to 1-2 and that the value of oxidation-reduction potential (ORP) for an Ag/AgCl electrode is regulated to 100 mV or less.
