[PROBLEMS] With respect to conventional adhesives, emphasis is placed on their bonding capability only, and little consideration has been paid to the condition thereof at the time of disposal of or diversion to other use of bonded products. Thus, it is intended to provide an adhesive whose capability can be easily lost at the time of recycling, etc. and further to provide a bonded member whose bonding is effected with the adhesive and a method of separating the same. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] There is provided a bonded member obtained by bonding a first adherend and a second adherend to each other with adhesive (15) comprising electromagnetic-wave-sensitive metallic substance (14). This bonded member is exposed to electromagnetic waves to thereby cause the adhesive to lose its bonding capability. Thus, the first adherend and the second adherend are separated from each other and recycled. Accordingly, at recycling, the first adherend and the second adherend can be separated from each other only by exposure to electromagnetic waves.
