PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus not decreasing productivity of the image forming apparatus as a whole by not generating a temperature adjustment error every time an input voltage abnormal state occurs, at an intermittent frequency. SOLUTION: When determined that a zero cross signal is not outputted normally for a specified period of time or longer, determination is made that an abnormal waveform is inputted to AC voltage. Change is made from a control method of phase control and zero cross control to a pseudo-zero cross control method. After that, when determined that the zero cross signal is returned to normal, return is made to the original control method of phase control and zero cross control. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
