<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving method of an exposure head and a driving method of an image forming apparatus wherein a load of maintenance of the exposure head can be reduced by reducing a load of light emitting elements. <P>SOLUTION: The exposure head has a light emitting part for low-luminance exposure Ha1 and a light emitting part for high-luminance exposure Ha2 formed at a flexible substrate. Organic El elements 33 which expose the same exposure spot of a photoreceptor drum among respective organic EL elements 33 of the light emitting parts for low-luminance and high-luminance exposure Ha1 and Ha2 are made the same set. At each exposure spot, the organic EL elements 33 of the light emitting part Ha1 are made to emit light in the case of exposure by low-luminance emission, while the organic EL elements 33 of the light emitting part Ha2 are made to emit light in the case of exposure by high-luminance emission. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
