PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal device, its control method, and a computer program for determining whether an output destination printer has a desired print condition (print function) or not during execution of print processing and deciding whether the print processing is carried out or not after confirming the determination result from a user. SOLUTION: A temporary file is generated when image data are outputted to be printed, and the image data are temporarily stored in the temporary file (S18 and S19). Print information is acquired from the image data stored in the temporary file (S20) to be compared with device information, which is acquired from the output destination printer in S21, (S22), and the comparison result is displayed to the user.
