PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust device for a motorcycle excellent in maneuvering stability during travel of a vehicle and promoting conversion action of exhaust gas. SOLUTION: A front exhaust pipe 11 connected to a front cylinder 14a of a V-type engine 14 is connected to a front part of an exhaust chamber 13 and a rear exhaust pipe 12 connected to a rear cylinder 14b is connected to an upper part of the exhaust chamber 13. Exhaust gas from a first and rear exhaust pipe 11, 12 merge in the exhaust chamber 13 and a catalyst 16 is arranged near a merging part. The rear exhaust pipe 12 is shorter than the front exhaust pipe 11 and exhaust gas under a high temperature condition is introduced to a catalyst 16 built in the exhaust chamber 13 via the rear exhaust pipe 12.
