<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an elevator for solving a security problem and enabling moving to other floor. <P>SOLUTION: This control device has a means 5 for registering a call of a destination floor in a car 3 and means 6 and 8 for performing personal authentications in the car 3, and is provided with a means for normally invalidating the registration of a car call, deciding whether or not the personal authentication results are effective, and registering and permitting the destination call in the car if the results are effective. Whether or not operations of the personal authentication means 6 and 8 are performed in an entrance floor is determined. When the operations are performed in the entrance floor, a residence floor of an operator is automatically registered.
