Detection and correction of a routing loop in a network of routers using an SPF routing protocol

The method involves determining a source graph of a rebooting router (C) based on initial topology of network, and determining a source graph of detection routers (B, D, E) close to the rebooting router based on a current topology of the network. An assembly comprising downward routers of the detection routers is determined in the source graph of the rebooting router, and another assembly comprising downward routers of the rebooting router is determined in the source graph of detection router. A third assembly formed of intersection of the assemblies is determined for each detection router. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for correcting a routing loop in a network of routers by a dynamic routing protocol i.e. SPF protocol at linked state (2) a network of routers (3) a computer program comprising program code instructions for executing a method for detecting a destination being likely to generate a routing loop in a network of routers by using a dynamic routing protocol.
