<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a base station for controlling transmission power so as to keep variation in uplink interference power at a certain value or less without reducing downlink throughput. <P>SOLUTION: A base station for controlling a transmission rate when transmitting and receiving data to/from a mobile station comprises: a power measuring section 212 for measuring power for receiving a reception signal; a decoder 210 for decoding the reception signal; an EUL (enhanced uplink) controller 213 for determining an uplink transmission format when transmitting data on the basis of the receiving power and a transmission request included in the decoded reception signal, and determining a timing to notify the mobile station of the uplink transmission format; and an HSDPA controller 214 for determining a downlink transmission format when transmitting data to the mobile station on the basis of the receiving power, the reception signal after decoding, and the notification timing of the uplink transmission format. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
