PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera focal plane shutter that improves exposure accuracy by surely preventing bounds of blades arising from an impact when an exposure travelling of the blades is ended after an exposure operation, can shorten convergence time of the bounds, and can achieve high durability and high frame speed.SOLUTION: A shutter including: drive members 6 and 7 driving blade groups 2 and 3; and a setting member 12 setting the blade group to an exposure operation start position/releasing the setting, comprises: a leaf spring-like brake member 15 that has a brake unit 15a, in which the brake unit is brought into slide contact with the drive member 6 when operating an exposure and, elastically deformed, and thus brakes a travelling of the drive member 6 at a time of the exposure operation; and a bound suppression member 19 that has a hook part 19a, in which the bound suppression member is pushed by the drive member 6 right before the exposure operation ends, is urged in a direction locking the drive member 6 by a coil spring, and the drive member 6 arriving at an exposure operation end position is locked by the hook part to thereby prevent bounds arising from an impact of the drive member 6 when the exposure operation ends.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
