Systems and methods of conditioning received paper currency are described. The system includes a bill input configured to receive paper currency bills. The system further includes a cassette configured to store received paper currency bills. The system includes a transport mechanism coupled to the bill input and the cassette, the transport mechanism is configured to transport received paper currency bills from the bill input to the cassette. The system further includes a heating element coupled to the transport mechanism or the cassette, the heating element configured to heat the paper currency bills. |
