Provided is a carbon nanotube dispersion which comprises a carbon nanotube-containing composition, a dispersant having a weight-average molecular weight of 1000 to 400000, a volatile salt, and an aqueous medium. The carbon nanotube dispersion is capable of maintaining high dispersibility of carbon nanotubes even when the amount of the dispersant used is less than the prior art.
