<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a yield of a material when manufacturing a fuel cell separator. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell separator 100 having an approximately rectangular outside shape includes a recessed part 10 provided on a first side S1 of an approximate rectangle and adapted to be used in assembling the fuel cell separator 100, and a protruded part 20 provided on a second side S2 opposite to the first side S1 and adapted to be used as the cell voltage detecting terminal of a fuel cell. The shape of the recessed part 10 corresponds to that of the protruded part 20.
