The present invention relates to new solid forms of N-(3-{[5-(4-chlorophenyl)-1H-pyrrolo[2,3-b]pyridin-3-yl]carbonyl}-2,4-difluorophenyl)propane-1-sulfonamide, known as vemurafenib (formula I), in the form of a stable amorphous mixture with a polymer, or amorphous salts. The invention further comprises various preparation methods of the amorphous forms of this active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) and their use for a pharmaceutical composition.
