A dynamic correction data generating function unit 45 generates overexposure correction data corresponding to the luminance of an overexposure region detected by the region detecting function unit 44, and shadow correction data corresponding to the luminance of a shadow region thus detected. Furthermore, the dynamic correction data generating function unit 45 generates dynamic correction data based on the overexposure correction data and shadow correction data thus generated. A dynamic correction image generating function unit 46 generates a dynamic correction image by correcting the corrected image with the dynamic correction data generated by the dynamic correction data generating function unit 45.
