PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance user friendliness by removing unevenness of luminance, e.g., shade or overexposure, occurring in a captured image properly without performing calibration again, regardless of addition of the type of image pick-up medium, change in the capturing position of a medium, change in the capturing environment of a medium, and the like.SOLUTION: A region detecting function unit 44 detects an overexposure region existing in a corrected image capturing a subject, and a shadow region. A dynamic correction data generating function unit 45 generates overexposure correction data corresponding to the luminance of an overexposure region detected by the region detecting function unit 44, and shadow correction data corresponding to the luminance of a shadow region thus detected. Furthermore, the dynamic correction data generating function unit 45 generates dynamic correction data based on the overexposure correction data and shadow correction data thus generated. A dynamic correction image generating function unit 46 generates a dynamic correction image by correcting the corrected image with the dynamic correction data generated by the dynamic correction data generating function unit 45. |
