A user device (e.g., a mobile phone) may receive unwanted calls on a regular enough basis to irritate a user of the user device. Systems and/or methods, described herein, may identify unwanted calls in an automated fashion, and may allow users to quickly make intelligent decisions as to whether they should answer an incoming call from an unknown number or not. Potentially unwanted calls may be blocked entirely, to further enhance users' experiences. The determination of whether a caller is an unwanted caller may be refined in an ongoing process, in order to ensure that calls are being properly blocked or allowed. |

1. A user device, comprising:
a memory device storing a set of processor-executable instructions; and a processor configured to execute the processor-executable instructions, wherein executing the processor-executable instructions causes the user device to:
detect an incoming call for the user device;receive, from a caller information repository, information regarding a caller associated with the incoming call;generate, based on the information regarding the caller, a spam score;normally allow the call when the spam score does not exceed a threshold, the normally allowing including providing a first call notification regarding the call; andallow the call in a modified fashion when the spam score meets or exceeds the threshold, the allowing in the modified fashion including providing a second call notification regarding the call, the second call notification being different than the first call notification, wherein the second call notification includes at least one of:a first indication that the caller is an unwanted caller, ora second indication that the caller is a potentially unwanted caller. |
