THERMAL TRANSFER IMAGE RECEIVING SHEET

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer image receiving sheet which has less rough surface and excellent image forming properties (high density print characteristics and image quality), when a coated paper is used as a base sheet.

SOLUTION: This thermal transfer image receiving sheet is constituted of an undercoat layer (B), a heat insulating layer (C) and a receptive layer (D) formed in this order, on the base sheet (A) made of the coated paper. The undercoat layer (B) is such a layer as formed by applying and drying a lipophilic resin dissolved in an organic solvent so as to have a thickness of 1 to 10 μm in the undercoat layer after drying. The heat insulating layer (C) and the receptive layer (D) are formed of a coating fluid prepared using an aqueous solvent.
