PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power shovel, in which the performance of a crane function is improved while crane operation and bucket operation can be changed over simply and rapidly. SOLUTION: An arm 2 is divided and constituted into a fixed-side arm section 15 and a sliding-side arm section 16, and the sliding-side arm section 16 is installed to the fixed-side arm section 15 in an extensible manner. A lifting- lowering unit 3 with a hook 24 for hung load for realizing the crane function is installed at the front end section of the sliding-side arm section 16 by engaging a hook 27 for installation with a bracket 28 for installation at the time of crane operation, and housed by interlinking the hook 27 for installation and the hook 24 for the hung load with brackets 29, 30 for housing mounted on a boom 6 respectively at the time of housing. |
