PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display information properly fitted for requirement of an automobile driver. SOLUTION: This is a method and a device for displaying information for a navigation equipment, which are provided with an input unit 2, an information storing device 5, a position measuring device 3, an evaluation unit 4 and a control unit 6 for controlling a display 7, and by which a route to a destination point is retrieved by the evaluation unit 4 pursuant to traffic three-dimensional information installed in the information storing device 5, based on the destination point inputable via the input unit 2 and a present position detectable by the position measuring device 3. A determined point and/or a mark point within a route are/is determined by the evaluation unit 4, and a scale for a section to be displayed can be displayed adaptably depending on a separated distance from the determined point and/or the mark point. |
