PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating method of a silver halide photographic sensitive material by which contamination in rinsing both of an automatic developing machine can be significantly decreased and superior maintenance property is obtained. SOLUTION: A silver halide photographic sensitive material exposed according to an image is developed, fixed, rinsed and dried in an automatic developing machine. In this case, at least the rinsing liquid has 1×10<-4> to 4.5×10<-1> mol/l silver ion concentration and contains an oxidant. The fixing liquid has 0.1 to 0.5 mol/l concentration of sulfites and contains hydrogen peroxide as an oxidant. Furthermore the rinsing liquid contains a bactericide. The silver halide photographic sensitive material contains a specified hydrazine derivative.
